Master the art of solving word problems with confidence! This 8-week bootcamp is designed for 4th-grade students who want to sharpen their problem-solving skills using the Singapore Math bar model method. Students will learn to break down complex problems, identify key information, and visualize solutions through structured bar models.


What Students Will Learn:

✅ Bar Model Strategies: Build a strong foundation in using bar models to represent and solve problems.

✅ Two-Part & Two-Step Word Problems: Tackle multi-step problems with ease, improving logical reasoning.

✅ Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Develop essential skills to analyze and solve challenging problems step by step.

✅ Confident Math Thinking: Gain strategies that will help in school math and future math competitions.


Each session includes guided instruction, hands-on practice, and engaging activities to ensure mastery. Plus, students will receive weekly homework to reinforce learning between classes.

Ms. Kirsten

Ms. Kirsten was a former teacher in two elementary schools in Singapore and has taught mathematics for over 10 years. Kirsten believes that with proper guidance, students can excel in mathematics and would love to help students reach their potential. Kirsten resides in Hawaii and loves traveling and cooking.
